Logo Refresh + Website Replatform

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Wanting a fresh start after coming out of a hiatus, we created a new design system created to enhance Downlinen’s core identity stemming from its past roots, but turning to look to the future. The new look was then paired with a freshly redesigned Shopify website and blog (replatform migration from WooCommerce/WordPress).

Pillows, Comforters, Blankets…OH MY!

comfy things = comfy look

Keep it simple, keep it clean. The final “vibe” created incorporated a modern look and feel, but stayed true to the simple, whimsical, and soft touch of the Downlinens core brand.

Pulling inspiration from brands such as Skims, Covey Skincare, and Summer Fridays, we curated a soft, yet balanced color palette to compliment a customized handwritten primary logo and mark. While keeping the primary logo a soft, personal touch, we incorporated a bold, clean statement with the tagline, which would further be used within the website redesign elements.

Brand-New Shopify Theme

Hours were spent navigating thru the old site (frontend + backend) to create a solution for creating a seamless, user journey. Through testing and analyzing past-purchase data and user patterns, we were able to highlight and place elements accordingly throughout the website entirety to drive users where they want and need to be (and where we want them as well!)

Enhancing the product page template provided an engaging and helpful detail/spec section for consumers wanting to learn more about specific products.This reduced the overall amount of customer service inquiries and product returns while also increasing online transactions and revenue.
